I need some help, I am looking for any current wishbone teams, high school or college(any level) who have had recent success.
It can be any variation of the bone.

Smith Center, Holton and Saint Francis in Kansas. All 3 run double dive (inside belly series) all 3 very successful.

All three of those Kansas schools do base out of the wishbone but it is more power than option and finesse. Garden Plain, in Kansas, also runs wishbone and has been very successful.

I coach at Onate H.S. in Las Cruces, NM and we run the option. We run inside and outside triple, midline, and a little bit of speed and load. We also run a little counter option. I am a defensive coach, but I'm sure our offensive coaches could give you some good pointers.

I'm not really needing advice or pointers, what I need is examples showing that this can still be an effective offense.
Thanks for the info on the KS schools, I searched and found that a couple of them were recent state champions.

Irvington HS in Fremont, CA. We run the Bone, Flex, and broken. Triple, midline, lead. We changed 3 seasons ago and have been in the playoffs the past 2 years, playing for the section title in 2005.

This program is no more due to consolidation, but West Praire/La Harpe (formerly Northwestern-La Harpe) in IL has had a lot success under Tim Lafferty. Two second place finishes and several "deep runs" in the postseason.

Mountain home High School, Mountain Home Arkansas
They run Wishbone, Unbalanced line Wishbone, I, Unbalanced I, and some flex. Most of the time they stay in the bone.
They went to the 6A state championship this last year. They have zero talent, have never had success, and are in an upper class white neighborhood with no toughness. Coach Shane Patrick has done a REMARKABLE job there, turning around a program and instilling toughness in those boys.

Smith Center, Holton and Saint Francis in Kansas. All 3 run double dive (inside belly series) all 3 very successful. If you want to see the double dive/belly series in action, check out Smith Center's website. This is a very well coached team. www.usd237.com/USD237/Highschool/Sports/Football/HSFootball/video/stockton.htmlAlso, add Russell to the list of wishbone teams. Holton, St. Francis, and Russell are all coached by Smith Center alumni. By the way, 3ydsandacloud, where are you in Kansas?
