footballscoop.com/news/everyone-who-grew-up-in-a-coaching-family-can-relate-to-this-photo/This hit the nail on the head for me. When I was 12 or 13, I was my dad's center during individual time for his quarterbacks. I was at everything. I was the water boy at games from the age of about 8 until I was able to play. I didnt get to play long for my dad( he got fired and retired from coaching) and he died before I really got going good into coaching but I remember the pride I felt in my dad being a coach. Now my boys come with me to all the games we scout and when they get a little older will be with me for everything just like I was. My 6 year old son even draws plays up for me to use during games now. I think being a coach's son is about the best way to grow up.
