I'm in the central portion of CA and we just had our fall coaches meeting. The AD explains things, what we need to be aware of, communications, etc. One of the handouts was the coaching clearance/certifications status, what we have to do to remain eligible to coach. These are all available online. This does not include the district requirements for fingerprints and background checks and such, which are required to become a district employee/paid coach. We don't have trainers at the practices, only the games.
Bloodborne pathogens Sexual Harassment Concussion requirement Coaches Certification - Fundamentals of Coaching First Aid/CPR Sudden Cardiac Arrest Mandated Reporter Training
Some of these are every year, some every other year. I'm not a teacher so I don't have to do these things as part of any yearly teaching duties/job requirement thing.
How does this compare with what you have to do?

Not sure what the mandated reporter training is, but everything else is relatively a yearly thing in my area. The fundamentals of coaching would be a one time course as well.

We do all of those except the reporter training, whatever that is. They are all yearly except CPR which is 2 years.

I just finished what I have to do - Bloodborne Pathogens, Concussions, Heat Illness, Epipen, Glucagon, Asthma, Diabetes; not to mention that I had to pay for my CPR re-cert in the spring.

Mandated reporter is a training basically stating that you have to report any type of child abuse to Child Protective Services (CPS) if you suspect something is going on (since you are working with kids).

Mandated reporter also refers to harassment issues and your role there within.
