If you want to stay a fan of Coach Weis, make sure you never meet him. LOL! Just a little advice about him.

After seeing him speak a couple times and hearing about his reputation, it sounds like tvt50 is giving good advice.

well for the sake of saving an arguement....you can be a dick and still know how to kiss butt. plus his repuation for winning games plus ND's tradition pretty much recruits the kids itself. i appreciate the info, but i would really like to get some info on his offense. im not looking to make buddies with him. i just think hes one of the best minds out there and think it would be time well spent looking at how he does things. thanks again guys

From the couple of times I have heard him speak this is the phrase that sticks out in my mind... "I don't care what you think or what anyone else thinks" I do not think he would let his players or assistants talk to crowds like he does. As a speaker, does not impress me. I have heard he is $50,000 for 45 minutes. Would not be worth it. As football coach, he is brilliant.

2004 ND playbook/NE Patriots www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=8721048www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=3209527 2003 NE Patriots www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=4511375Also look at the Carolina Panthers playbook posted on the Direct LInks section. He was also at the Jets with Dan Henning. Loves Draws in the running game. Loves screens to the RBack. Loves the "Look" pass or what Henning calls "Smoke" Loves to motion the RBack out of the backfield and run QB sneaks in short yardage and goaline. Did this twice against USC. I have read both Mangament Secrets of the NE Patriots books Vol. 1 and 2. These books give good insight on how they did things with the Patriots when he was there. I dont think it is really what he teaches but how he teaches. He is just a great teacher of football. Takes what we think is complicated and makes it easy for his players. Started coaching in HS went to college, went back to HS and won a state championship in one year. und.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/weis_charlie00.html

I agree, great coach! What about all the negative stuff about him? What is he like? Is he that bad? Give me some stories, I am interested in hearing them! I hate to be negative, but I am curious!
