Coaches, do yourselves a favor and wear sunscreen! We spend a lot of time in the heat and need to take care of ourselves. This is a coaching issue that often gets overlooked. Don't hit the field, especially in the summer without applying it. And even if you have a dark skin tone, it doesn't mean you're protected from the rays.

And a wide brimmed hat and sleeves when you can.

Slip, Slop, Slap, Wrap Slip on a shirt Slop on some sunscreen Slap on a hat Wrap on some sunnies Been the credo here in Aussieland for donkeys. The old school coaches will look at you through glassy eyes, scratch their burned heads and say naaaaaa

Don't forget the sunglasses as well...the eyes can get damaged by the rays too!
Some people make fun of me for my spf 50, sun hat, occasional sleeves, and oaks during the summer, but I can't afford to get skin cancer anytime soon or EVER...I get enough vitamin D from my Flintstones chewy vitamins!

I'm all about the sunscreen and sleeves. Got a new pair of shades on the way too. I did go out today in the sun without sunscreen today, but it was early.
