Give me some ideas of your summer schedule.
How many weeks?
How many days a week?
Workouts?
Practice? (If possibles?)

We start official lifting tomorrow and lift/run 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) in June. We then will use 10 camp days in July and start 2 a days August 1st. We lift 8 to 10 am (as HC, I am only one there as I want my AC's to be well rested and ready for camp and as I tell them, a "perk" of the job). Our camp days are 4 to 7 pm due to AC_'s work schedule, and our 2 a days will be 3 to 8 each evening (a first for us).

6 weeks of weights (4 days/ploys included every day)- 2 max lifting sessions, June and August Weight program is an integrated BFS, still with focus gaining powere and speed with lower reps schemes We do not do a lot of running until the week before our preseason camp. 7v7 for seven sessions (plenty of conditioning) Preseason Camps 2 weeks before football starts- 4 days Week before camp is a 3 day condoning circuit and "walktrhtoughs"

We give them this week off (school out tomorrow). Then we go the next 2 weeks, Monday through Thursday. 830-1030 am. We lift and run 3 days and go out and practice one day. We have 1 7 on 7 against another school each week. Then they are off the week of July 4 (state requirement) then we go 2 more weeks, same basic schedule as before. Then they are off for the week of the state coaches convention. Then we come back and have 1 week before practice starts. We do a 3 day mini camp that week.

We are in Ohio. Camp is time for fundamentals and install. We are allowed to wear helmets, but no other equipment. Our camp is some offense and defense, and eventually some special teams install and finish in weight room. Total 3 hours.

In Utah we are lifting/speed training Monday-Thursday. We are allowed a 5 day padded camp and we can choose to have that in either June or July. 2 a days will start the first week of August and we have two weeks of those, but are only allowed a true double practice every other day.

In Ohio here. We started lifting MWF June 1st. We have 2 of our 10 camp days in June...we were going to go to a big school for a 7v7 tournament but due to some changes that isn't happening. We then do the rest of our camp days in July highlighted by our 3 day team camp in the 2nd week of July. We stay overnight at a local campus and basically hold a training camp with team building in the evening. Each of our camp days we generally treat as a two a day, but sometimes we have 1 practice then go to a 7v7 with the skinny kids. We finish with a camp day with another team then give the kids the last week of July off until 2 a days start August 1st.

Give me some ideas of your summer schedule. How many weeks? How many days a week? Workouts? Practice? (If possibles?) I'm in Virginia. We'll start back up lifting on Monday 6/15 (We had to take this week off for exams}. Except for a one week dead period in early July we'll go from 6-8 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until formal practice starts August 2. We'll lift, run, then do football stuff. We have two 7 on 7's scheduled with another team and a tournament. We'll also attend a team camp for four days.

Out here in Northern California... We practice 5 days per week for 4 hours (1 hour lifting, 1 hour install meeting, 2 hours on field) for the first 3 weeks of summer.
Then we go to a team camp for 4 days and three nights. From there we take the next 1.5 weeks off and when we come back we just do lifting and conditioning until we can practice again in mid August.

Lift MWF, 730-1230. 3 groups: A group, 0730-0930, B group 0900-1100, freshmen 1030-1230 3 ACs help the SS coach, when the next group arrives, 1AC starts warming up the next group and working on speed stuff until the SS coach finishes the first group, another AC supervises the first out of the locker room. Then they all rotate back in to the weight room, repeat
TTh, is when we do skill work. 1600-1830. HS does Indy, group, then 7-7, and then leaves at 1730. Middle school lifts from 1600-1730, then comes out side and does skill work with the coaches.
This goes from June 1- July 24. ACs sign up to cover for 5 days.
SC allows 10 days of summer 7-7 competition so we have several sessions scattered through the summer, most in July.
