Those out there that split practices. Are you at a school that you trust the kids? What happens when a kid misses a practice? AM or PM

Trust the kids? Sure we trust them. We have to. Why wouldn't they come back if theywant to play? If they're absent unexcused we'll run them, then it couldcut into playing time, or even membership on the team.

1st unexcused absence = 1 game suspension 2nd = dismissal from the team

Not sure how you are set up but our first week of doubles at the school we go 8-10/10:30 give the kids time to clean up watch film. Then we are lucky enough to have lunch at the school as a team. Do some specail teams after lunch then are back on the field at 3:30ish or later depending on the heat. That way no one has an excuse since they can't leave second week we go away to camp over night so we dont worry about that week
