Hey Guys,
I was wondering if in US there are female football teams. Here in Brazil there is a few (amateur football of course).

I know we have a semi pro women team here in Salt Lake. I don't know much about them though.

There is a league in Canada. It's not bad, but I think the game would be better if they played 9-man.

They have a few teams in Washington I know Portland and salt lake city are in the same league. My wife and sister do roller derby and some of there friends where on a team and wanted me to come help with a practice I politely declined.

There is a league that plays in the upperMidwest area. One of the female coaches has shadowed our program for the last 4-5 years (they play in the spring and early summer).

Youtube "Lingeie Football League Coach" if you want to learn some new vocabulary. That stuff's a joke.
I know of one semi-pro team - not sure who the hell they play since they're the only one I know of within like 200 miles...

Isn't/Wasn't there a professional league in the US? The teams resembled the NFL teams of the cities they were in with similar colors and uniforms, but the nicknames were different. I think one was the Pittsburgh Pride.

The Lingerie League should seriously consider an international expansion.

It has really taken off in the UK over the last year. Nothing like the Lingerie League and in the space of around 18 months it has gone from nothing to a national flag league, followed by a national 5v5 contact league which concludes this Sunday. Later on this year it moves into 11-a-side and there is already a British National team.

Like in UK, in Italy we start from a national flag league many years ago to start a 5vs5 tackle league three years ago. under the national league FIDAF there is CIFAF women league
i coached a team near Milan for two years ( OC-RB/WRcoach ), next month the third championship will start.
but now i prefer to coach 50 guys in flag team rather than 10 women...

Severely disappointed in the uniforms of the Brazilian Beach Football League. I don't know. Take another good look at #77 and it'll remove a lot of the disappointment about their uniforms. In any case, I think the mom of one of my players from a few years back played for this team, or another.: www.austinoutlaws.com/
