Hey guys putting on new decals. Does anyone use a helmet cleaner / buffer to get out little scratches & clean up the helmets?
Any recommendations?

I would never put anything on a helmet other than what the manufacturer recommends. If a player gets a serious head injury, the helmet manufacturer will get sued--and you, too, probably. That helmet manufacturer (and the player's lawyer) will be looking for something YOU did. It won't matter if it had anything to do with it or not. Keep your backside covered at all times when it comes to liability issues.

I'm saying ONLY use what the manufacturer recommends. Anything else opens you up for liability.

Most companies that sell helmet decals recommend using "Pro Prep".
