Depending on who you ask, those could be anything... if you have more information as far the system, or where you heard these being mentioned, that could help narrow it down.

sorry for lack of info. it is a formation often ran by wing t guys. right/left, red/blue, north/south, reo/leo. just curious to what some may call reo east or leo west. to me it would be just another way to call out right/left (like some do with rip/liz, roger/larry, states that border{alabama guy uses georgia/texas}. hope that helps............

"Reo" and "Leo" was terminology I learned in my one year with a Wing-T team that I've adapted into the system I run now.
Basically, it is an unbalanced set. It stands for "Right End Over" or "Left End Over." It essentially puts the SE and the TE on the same side, with the WB or Z (depending on what kind of offense you are running).
So, for us, we would call "I Right" which would look like this:
X-----------------------O-O-C-O-O-Y -----------------------------Q-----------------------Z
-----------------------------F -----------------------------T
"I REO" would look like this:
------------------------O-O-C-O-O-Y---------------------------X -----------------------------Q-----------------------Z
-----------------------------F -----------------------------T
For Wing-T, it's basically the same concept, with the X, Y, and Z all on the same side.

thanks, that makes sense.... same thing I would call "right cover(covering the TE, thats on the right). REO makes it easier terms for all.....

Yeah, I think as far as terminology goes, it's just a matter of whatever works best for your system and your kids. We like anything with fewer syllables for the QB to pronounce!!

If you heard that on jetsweep.com, it is coach Elrods and Reo would look like this
.......E.............TGCGTE....................................... ..........................Q.......B...................................... ..........................F...A..................
It would be set HB and WB on right side. LEO HB & WB on Left

It's another obvious example of how the same "terminology" means different things to different people!

this isn't PC, but what happens if your QB (calling the play in the huddle) is 1st generation Japanese?
I mean, "LEO" is going to sound like "RIO" and vis versa.
