Hi,
I have coached for 8yrs in Southern Illinois. I will be the new Offensive Coordinator this year we will be runnning the Gun/Spread offense next year. In the past I have been part of wishbone, T, wing-t, I , power-I, and double-wing offense's. The program has been down ever since it's inception but I am trying to build a tradition to be proud of.

I doubt I do, I was in Killeen a long time ago back in 5th and 6th grade. My dad was stationed at Ft. Hood. It's also where I started my illustrious Pop Warner career Aznando

I'm not actually coaching right now. I'm in the Army and I'll become a commissioned officer in May. I was a fulltime volunteer for two years in Oklahoma; one year at a small school (350 or so) and the second year at one of the smaller 6A schools. Because of my military duties I don't feel that I can put enough time into them both.
We ran a split back offense at the small school, at the big school we ran a single back. 4-3 Cover 4 at the small school, and a 4-3 at the big school. At the big school everything we did was based on the old school Nebraska stuff. The defense was what the DC at NU ran before Pelini was there.
After I serve my time in the Army (hopefully 20 years and get that nice retirment check). I mainly just trying to keep my coaching skills honed (at least the X's and O's portion).

Well here goes,
This is my first year to coach anything, I volunteered at the Jr. high here where I live in Oklahoma and helped with the DE's. We ran a 5-2 defense. As far as offense goes I have no Idea because I only helped with the defense. It has been about 15 years since I played and at that time we ran an I formation and a 5-2 defense. Things have changed tremendously over the years and since I have started back to school so I can be a certified teacher/coach, so I thought I better get my butt in gear and get to getting football smart. I then saw an advertisement about a "semi-pro" team needing coaches, I inquired, gave my credentials (or lack there of...... LOL) and came into the head coach job by default. I know I can do it I am just gonna need a lot of help and support from you fellow football guru's to make me modern day football smart. So if you ahve any help/pointers,ect, just email me at Outlawzheadcoach@cableone.net. Any and all help will be appreciated. Also there has been a few that have helped and stepped up (you know who you are) I would like to say thanks, and when I get more football smarts than I will do my part to pass on my knowledge of football to those less fortunate as I currently am!!!

Hello,
I coach out in the deserts of the Southwest in Tucson,AZ. I have been coaching for over 10 years now. I am a real student of the game. I started as an high school freshmen assistant, I moved from that to J.V. in a year, then to varsity. I have been a defensive coordinator, offensive coordinator, and head varsity coach. I am currently an assistant once again and am enjoying it. I plan on one day being a head coach again. I just decided to take a little while away from the head responsibilities for my family.
My first passion is the Offensive line. I played high school football in the Wing-T and 6-1 defense.
I have coached various option offenses. As defensive coordinator I ran the 50 eagle

I have been through 4 schools. The first couple of schools I was still trying to get my teaching cert. Once I had that I looked for the teaching job. Then I have settled in on the northwest side.
You are from around here?

aznando: I won't go to OCS, I'll be an ROTC product. I'm currently at Cameron University in Lawton, OK (Fort Sill). I will go to OBC (Officer Basic Course) at Fort Leonard Wood, MO; more than likely this summer, I should find out in Feb/Mar. When I was coaching it was teams in the Lawton area.

Hey Guys. I'm at a south Mississippi 4A school. (650 kids 9-12) This year I was the Defensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. We finished 8-3-0, losing in the first round of playoffs to the eventual South State Runnerup. Last year I was the DC and Co-OC at a Catholic 2A school (280 kids 9-12) running an unbalanced single wing. 1st playoff trip for that school in 17 years - lost in the first round. Prior to that I was coaching D-line at a small NAIA college in Mississippi. I am looking for my first head coaching assignment.
