Does anyone have a checklist or timeline you use for field maintenance? I have always coached where we had turf game fields and may be relocating to grass. One of the many issues I have never thought about.
Thanks,

I believe both UNC and NC State have excellent online resources from their agriculture departments regarding athletic field care. I'm also thinking either Indiana or Purdue has information about this as well. I was part of a staff that installed a new sod field a few years ago and recall finding this information. It had "schedules" as to fertilization and what types to use throughout the year depending on what type of grass you have.
Sorry I don't still have the link.

It's an ag and engineering school

County may give basic maintenance but if it needs to look nice, many coaches have to take over.
