Pete Carroll - positive, driven guy who enjoys the game. Monte Kiffin - intense, focussed, but knows how to enjoy the game. A wealth of knowledge from years of experience all the way around. Sean Payton - the imaginitive and QB friendly approach to offense and focussed team building Darin Slack - quality unassuming guy who knows more about position coaching and technique than anyone I've seen. Dick Vermeil - passionate mad-psychologist of team building Alex Gibbs - what can I say? Fantastic "F"word coach.
Fritz Shurmur - fantastic fundamental coach who loves a sound defense. His 'technician'-style pro defenses are what got me into coaching. George Allen - another positive, energetic, focussed, health-conscious coach

Living: I've met a lot of characters already... met Glanville... but would like to hang out with him so (1)
2. John Gagliardi, even though he spent 4 years at hated Carroll (MT) College. Had he not been at Carroll, they might have gone ahead and dropped football (which would have significantly increased our winning percentage in college). I have an assistant who played for him... never met him though, but have heard only great things about him.
Dead (since I had only 2 living... I get 4 dead): 1. Gil Dobie. 9 years at Washington without a loss. Everyone hated him, but he won and I'd like to be around that.
2. Johnny Blood (McNally). Need someone with whom to take a 250 mi. motorcycle trip... and then talk football
3. Central (IA) Ron Schipper. I should have met him while I had the chance.
4. Bud Wilkinson. The streak... plus he was an English major.
and if anyone on the dead list isn't available: Hayes, Lombardi and Bryant (in that order).
