Spoke at a couple of them over the years. I believe I received $200 and a room for the night. I enjoyed it and would definitely do it again.

Glazier Staff has many good people to work with. I have had fun doing it and always made a few new coaching friends.

When do they contact coaches to be presenters? I'm just curious as to how early they start filling their schedules for the clinics.

For Nike COY and Glazier I believe I was contacted either before the football season or early in August/September..
By the time November rolls around they already have their line up in place.

Barnes77, the Glazier clinics are pretty good in that a speaker normally has almost three full hours to present information on a single topic or a couple topics. They can go into a lot of detail wit that much time. However, they can be expensive if you aren't part of a staff or school where some of the cost can be covered. Most areas have several local clinics that will start up at the end of January and February. If you are on a staff currently, your HC should get or already have a lot of information on where some clinics will be. If you aren't on a staff, express interest with the coach at a local HS and he will probably help you out.

Mostly high school coaches and they have clinics all over the country. There's a good chance there's at least one reasonably close to you. Here's a link to their clinic sites and dates: Glazier Clinics 2015

The Glazier Clinics can run the gamut between average and really good depending on who is speaking. Nike COY clinics are good as well, they're not as widespread as the Glazier Clinics, but they're in plenty of cities. In my experience, they get a few more of the big name guys to come and speak compared to the Glazier Clinics. And of course, nothing beats the annual AFCA Convention. It's in Louisville this year in early January. You may be able to find some others near you on this site: FootballClinics.com

I spoke last spring, was a late add in for what I assumed was someone who couldn't do it last minute. I got $50 for each session (did two sessions) and a free room for the night I was speaking. I'm sure some of the well known coaches get better compensation.
It was a fun, enjoyable experience.
