I'm guessing more schools across the country are starting to deal with this as Year-Round school becomes more popular. Here we are in the middle of fall break. I was wondering those who have a whole week off during the regular season, how do you change your practice times or do you keep everything the same as though there was still school in session? Just curious.

Same here, we're practicing at 8 AM, so kids and coaches can get done early and enjoy the break!

We have a week. We move them to an earlier time with a day off in there to give them some type of break, even though we still have a game that Fri. It just so happens that the game is senior night.

We have two weeks as well. I've had a week before at different schools so this is more break but it is what it is. We are different from the other posters so far though in that we have to keep our practice time at the usual time because most of our coaches are lay coaches. We'd only have 3 coaches if we held practice in the morning. It does stink from my perspective in that you're kinda waiting around all day for it whereas if you held in the morning you have the rest of the day but there's just no other way for us to do it. Two days into it, practice has been just fine like usual. The kids are fine and aren't out of synch or anything.

We have two weeks as well, we do everything exactly the same. same times, same schedule, that way everything is always consistent and there are no excuses about not knowing practice time, etc. With one exception, no Friday practice

It would probably more have to depend on your coaches' work schedules. A lot of off campus coaches at my school. It's a big reason why we don't do double days anymore.
