I had a folding chair at practice and when we moved on the field I had a player carry my chair for me.

saw a guy coach on a knee scooter, it didn't look fun, I would use the golf cart, keep stations around you, use the knee scooter when you can do work on field but could stay in a space

Coached on crutches in '94 (broken leg). During practice I stood as long as I could, and then spent time in a cart. Luckily, I was the guy in the box on game day. Two kids would help me into the stands and then hoist me into the box. I stayed there until the end of the game. Not cool when it rained or was bitter cold. By the way, I guy I coach with had the same surgery this winter. He used one of those knee scooters.

Oh, ok. so it's for ankle injuries. I thought it was for knee injuries and I was going to wish I'd had one.

I don't think it would work on knee since it is bent. I would hate to push that thing on a grass field or on uneven ground.

there's an obese coach I know of that coaches from his pickup truck with which he even drives onto their home field. he literally drives people crazy.

No. I refuse to believe it. found a picture of him. not in his truck, but maybe it makes my story more believable:
