Anybody out there know of any? Any pics?
We are in the plans of finalizing this (actually, the plan is finalized), but I've been throwing this idea to the AD, Principal and Super. My AD gets it, our principal sees the pros and cons of both and my super (who is set on retiring in 3 years, great guy) seems to be basically dead set on making this idea/project be his baby (which I get).
...just looking. Thanks coaches.

I've never seen it, but I don't see why it can't be done. You can't have permanent football lines though because that would look strange if you have a permanent white line doing accross the back of the infield. You'll just have to hire a company to come in the summer to professionally paint the football lines for u. Not a big deal though. I know of several turf fields that don't have permenant lines.

We have this on our JV Baseball field / Practice varsity Football field. There is no dirt at all, all turf there is a portable mound they put in each spring.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using proboards I thought the same thing, until I saw some of these. One school here in KY, Lexington Catholic has this. Ill see if I can find a pic, until then, here is one I found: www.fieldturf.com/en/featured-installations/ingraham-high-school (granted, that's just soccer lines and not football) I'm thinking what you are. Maybe do like the above and permanently line the OB's and Endzones & paint it up. Personally, I don't think it would be that bothersome if the football field was in the outfield and permanently lined. Then again, maybe it would be.

I like that set up if it's a town rec complex, but for a school or campus I'm not a fan. Maybe it's because I'm also a baseball coach but I hate fields with no fences and that aren't an actual ballpark like this complex isn't. It also looks like seating isn't very good either. Reminds me of a college practice facility.
Now, if your in a dense city and there is absolutely no room, i can see the need for this type of facility.
