We had a big playoff game last year where the crowds and the bands made so much noise we could hardly hear ourselves think. How have you coaches dealt with this?

When I was at UNI we used to bring in speakers that played crowd noise. This might be over a high school budget, but heck you could even line up a couple of stereos and have them play music loud so you can work on playing in a noisy environment.

It is always nice to have your players with the "pimped rides" to park out by the practice fields, all of them turn it on to the same radio station as loud as it will go and practice like that... the music will pump them up, it is loud, and it gives those players a reason to boast (bad or not)

I really hope I have this problem some day.

you may see if the band can come down to practice and sit right on the side and play as loud as they can.
