Just google woodland high school, bartow co. ga., for any ga. sports records ghsa(publics)gisa(privates). From my own experience working up in that area, ie(Rome,Ga./floyd co.) and family visits nearby( Acworth/Kennesaw) Cartersville seemed like a pretty nice small city in a fast growing area north of atlanta off I-75, hilly country, nice scenery and best of all NO GNATS!

I think it is the one just north of Atlanta. Heard it was an ole boy from Michigan that got the job.

I heard that there is a teacher shortage down in GA is that true It depends on what you teach. I know in the county I teach in, Forsyth, we had a high school open this year, will have one in 2009 and 2011. We have been in the top 3 of the fastest growing counties in the country the last decade. Great place to raise a family and the teacher pay is very competitive. The supplements have yet to catch up with the neighboring counties but the county AD is looking into raising them. I don't think they've gone up on 14 years, other than the annual cost-of-living raise.

One woodlands HS is in Cartersville GA. It is north of Atlanta. i have a friend who coaches there. They do have a new coach from Michigan, and last I heard were running the straight T. They are a relatively new school and have not had a very good season this year. you can get their scores from the last several years on maxpreps.com
