Coaches,
Do any of you hold informational seminars/clinics with parents for kids of all ages in your community that address your concussion protocol (baseline testing, trainer involvement, etc.) as well as proper tackling technique and form?
If so, what did your format look like?

Our county requires every athlete, regardless of sport to have concussion baseline testing before they are allowed to practice on day 1. It doesn't have to be repeated EVERY season either, just that it has been done in the past. I talk to my parents at my parent meeting at the beginning of the year to let them know the protocol for what happens if/when a kid gets a concussion as well as the time table/process for returning from a concussion.

We do baseline testing too.
I guess I'm looking at more of a community outreach than a preseason meeting. Hoping to provide parents that are on the fence with an opportunity to see how we do things and to ask questions.
