Never done that but in my experience you can never do to much fund raising. If it's working do it!

If you are already on Hudl, go the route of Hudl Campaigns. Its just like eTeamfundraising but it ties in directly to your kids on Hudl. We raised $2,000 this year with it and only had about 30 of our 150 kids REALLY participate. This year we will really push it. Very easy to do, very positive feedback from kids and parents.

We raised about $7500 selling Casey's cards through Adrenaline Fundraising. Probably not a super awesome number for most, but it's about double our yearly budget through the school. Was really easy. Hope to make more this year, just afraid it was a one year wonder thing.

I used eteamsponsors for our youth level and it works as well as the amount of work the volunteers put into it. Just make sure the amount of emails you need to get works for you and your kids and not the 15 they recommend.

Coach, Does HUDL create a highlight film for you each week and then your players send out E-mails to friends and family encouraging them to provide funds for the program? How much of the funds actually makes it to your program? Please provide a little more of a description and how you plan to sell this to your players.

96% of the money goes to you. You create a video and the players put in emails and it send it out.
Similar to ourfund.com (we made 8,000 off of this), go you look Hudl Campaigns (its basically a begathon), I would have the kids login and the parents put in emails. (Give a % towards dues, etc...)

I haven't looked in to hudl campaign but will now
We've used eteamsponsor in the past
I know the guys that created the company and we had some success... We are just in an area that struggles financially so I was actually surprised by the 3k we made

Sell trash bags. Everyone needs trash bags. We profit 5K yearly selling trash bags for about a month. Like bdud we're in a very poor, very rural area, but make good money on trash bags and BBQ Chicken dinners.
There's a guy locally that sells mulch and makes stupid amounts of money.

There's a guy locally who does fundraising. I can give you his info if you want. I'm actually looking into taking him out of the equation, as he gets 50% of all sales. We sell them for $13 a roll. Schools nearby do $15, but we are in a poorer area and can't get the volume of sales charging that much. Not much work goes into it on the coaches part, it's all on the kids to sell and raise money. I do a side bet with the coaches on who can sell the most, little friendly competition.

I don't know about eteamsponosr but our big fundraiser every year is a BBQ. We live in cattle country so we get meat very cheap and a prison that employs a lot of our community sponsors and buys a ton of stuff for it. The big PIA is finding someone to or smoking the meat (brisket) by yourself...I love to cook but thats too much. Every kid is required to sell at least 10 tickets but most sell many more.
We do it at the end of 2-a-days either after an inter squad or our scrimmage. People call ahead if they just want to support the team but get theirs to go after work. others sit around and chat. the cheerleaders sell stuff (snow cones etc..)and we even sell old jerseys and stuff we cant use. the BBQ this past year raised $5000 and this is a community of about 2500 people and we have roughly 30 kids on roster.

You don't think the urbanites use trash bags? Everyone needs trash bags. Plain and simple. If they can buy good quality trash bags and help out their local football team, everyone wins. We struggle to have 100-120 kids in our program K-12, and we bring in 10K, half of which is ours. Tie in some apparel to it and get the boys competing, offer $100 for the top seller, runs like wildfire.
PM me if you want the guys info and I will send it your way.

Hope to make more this year, just afraid it was a one year wonder thing. I think if you're in Illinois or Iowa especially, the Casey's fundraiser is the way to go. At my last coaching job, we did the Casey's cards one year and then for some reason, our HC decided to not do them the next year and went a different direction. I don't remember the exact numbers now, but we made A LOT more the year we did Casey's.

Yes they are available at every store. But why not help out your local sports team AND get something you know you will need and use? Works well for us, and others in the area that have done it.

I get that it works for you, i think it is just so foreign to me and anything that I've seen/heard of in my area that I struggle to wrap my mind around it

Give it a shot. There is 0 cost for you to try. If you have a good number of kids in your program, you make good money selling freakin trash bags.

Can you post the contact info for this fundraiser? Do people pay and then have them delivered? Does the school/team have to buy so many then have to sell them? Explain the process please and how much you profit. Thanks!

Kids sell them. You turn in your orders. They send you trash bags. Kids deliver them to who they sold them to. You keep half of all money brought in. We make 5k annually. You have to buy nothing up front. There is ZERO RISK. Straight cash homie.

I used to coach in NC (IN now) and the baseball coach in NC is looking into doing it. Issue becomes shipping. We have gone and gotten them ourselves before in a box truck and saved a few hundred dollars. Really good guy to work with, will do whatever he can to help. If you want his info, PM me.

Has anyone tried a scrips card from Kwik trip as a fundraiser? If your kids pre-sell the scrip cards (5, 10, 25, and 50$) the people will then use the cards to buy gas or whatever they want to Kwik trip. Everyone needs gas and it really does not cost the people anything to help your program. Kwik trip gives your program %10 of everything you sell.
