I am losing my mind over the end of the Ohio State-Clemson game.
It has nothing to do with the actual teams, I really didn't care either way.
PLEASE KEEP THIS FOCUSED ON THE COACHING SIDE OF THINGS.
Fan stuff has no place.
I am even going to ask that no one brings up other aspects of the game. Feel free to start another thread to do that.
At the end of the game, Clemson is 2nd and 13 with a running clock and there's about :31 left. Ohio State has two time outs.
Game over.
Then, Clemson gets an unsportsmanlike penalty for running onto the field.
It is now 2nd and 28, and the clock is stopped.
My initial reaction is "holy crap!", because now Ohio State can stop the clock on 3rd and 4th down with the timeouts, and get the ball back with 20 seconds or so.........
.........and then I proceeded to watch them let the clock run out.
I'm trying to not wake my wife up as I'm flipping out.
Did I miss something? Did anyone else notice it?
