I wanted to ask something on here about time management.Tonight, I realized that maybe I don;t know enough about it and when you want to do in different situations.
Exmaple: Our coach as our HC is he wanted the ball back with I think 47 seconds left in the half.I am thinking "just let the clock run out."
I look up at the clock quite a bit for the usual knowing how much time we have and making the rather simple decisions off of that.
Can anybody suggest a book or just give advice on how to better learn and know time management skills?

Sometimes you just have to go by your gut. You get to a point where you have to decide in some games, do I want to just let it run out and get to the half, or do I have something I think I can hit them with right before the half if I get the ball back with good field position....or maybe you're in the 4th quarter with a lead and you've got to decide whether you run clock on each play---or do you have them gassed and on the ropes so you want to take advantage of that and go after them to put them away for good.

I second Fantom. The book will recommend you practice the situations he gives you. personally, I think both the book and the practicing helped me a ton.

John Reed and Homer Smith have both written books on it, just make sure you have the right version for your rules.
