Any tips for practicing with another team? We are thinking of doing an inside run period (I'd like to do that as thud), 7 on 7 period with 1 on 1's for the line, 1 on 1's for DB's playing man coverage on receivers, then scrimmage about 20 plays a piece.

We do this. We give each team 1 hour alone to start for warm-ups and any indy/team install they wanna do. After that we'll spend 12 minutes on Inside Run/WR-DB 1 on 1's, 2 minutes for transition, then 12 minutes for Skelly/1 on 1 pass pro. 3 minutes for transition to Team and scrimmage for 30 minutes.

1 on 1's for the line is good. But also try to work either half line pass rush / pro or full line pass rush / pro. It gives the OL an opportunity to feel out the strengths and weaknesses of the guys next to them in a competitive atmosphere.
