Had our last senior leadership meeting last night and one thing our kids want is a better pre game stretch routine. We just line kids up on the goal line and perform a 6-8 min dynamic warm-up and then off to position indy. they want to line up and do some rah rah things in warm ups. (Not a big fan of this, but when every senior asked and agreed I am willing to look into it.
Does anyone have a diagram and or list of what they do for pregame cal etc...
You can me PM me or email

We line up and do our 6-8 min dynamic just like you do, then we jog the lines out and let them break it down. And hoot and hollar and do some jumping jacks.

A great post scrip to this video would be- And then despite their dancing, their moronic coaches jumping around like idiots, despite their head bobs and hoopla and yelling random things at their opponents in warm ups, the Cardinals got beat 52-7.

Here is our pregame before we go to pos Indy: After the linemen come out we all meet under the goal post and form two lines. One line runs left around the field the others go right. They cross on the 45 and slap hands. Then they peal off into lines of six spaced out evenly across the field and every five yards back. When everyone is in place they clap in unison. The captains (or however you want to do it) are waiting under the goal post. Then they make a bunch of noise and run through the team to take their positions up front. Then we do our jumping jacks spelling out our team. Then they jog it to the end zone for dynamic. Then off to positions.

I've always been partial to this one (stick around until the end)

We have been thinking the same thing... Our stretch itself is pretty good, but we need to get something to get these guys mentally focused. Whether it's getting each line to clap before they start their stretch or get the whole team in a box and do something..

I've always been partial to this one (stick around until the end) LMAO I wasn't expecting to have something broken over that guys back I am betting those were S&C guys...not FB guys. Probably crossfitters too... haha Just the same, I am looking for the correlation btw fired up pregame coaches and player production... coachjd you could probably get by with some pad clapping, and some type of noise making jumping jack deal prior to , and following the dynamic warm up. Would be simple, satisfy the kids, and not add any stress to you and the staff.

I found that all kids want to win and 99% will play hard if they know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.

Do the 3 man basketball weave like Oregon. Anyone have video of that. I have heard about it but haven't seen it. More curious than anything.
