Why buy them when you can make them.....2"x8" Board, cut to 8' long (10' if you want)....Then get the shop teacher at your school to put it on the rip saw and cut 45 degree angles down the edges....a little paint and you have boards at a fraction of the cost....

I just went and scavenged around the school for boards that will work. I like the rubber ones, but the cost is ridiculous when you can make your own.

Go buy or get the local building supply store to donate some 2 x 12 x 10. Make sure they are pressure treated. We don`t cut the edges off either!

1 piece of 3/4" or thicker x 8' long plywood. (a damaged one donated by the local lumber yard is perfect) Have the shop teacher rip it into 3-14" wide pieces. (narrower for middle school and youth) Slap lots of cheap leftover paint on em and go!! Ours are going on their 5th season.

Just a thought, you can put each years linemen's name on the boards and make it a big deal to get your name on it, build a little history and pride at the same time.
