look at the posts from 2005 and see if anything is different
Along the lines of the author's intent (generic asking threads)...and not to turn this thread into a gripe session ('man these coaches don't know what they are doing"), I mean, WHO really is going to take the time to find this site and interact, and......."not have a clue"? I mean, who goes to clinics, then asks Jimbo Fisher, "Hey, give me your best pass plays, thanks"? No, you probably would ask a specific question about a specific scenario.
Whats my point?
The biggest element of this coaching resource is INTERACTING.
Jump in.......the water is......well, boiling. Thats the life of coaching.
It probably comes with the territory, but there are folks who just want to download playbooks to say they have them. They want some insight, but really have no plans to utilize it (not coaches).
Part of "it", probably comes from a lack of familiarity with subject matter. This site has been around for 2 years now. There are pages on pages of threads to get information from, though it IS lovely to get fresh perspectives from other people on here. Meaning, CONTRIBUTE whatever you want, but before you go asking, just try looking / searching for your answers. There are wing-t, flexbone, spread, DW, 5 wide, one back, power I, etc coaches that have been contributing for a while on here - take a look at what they've offered.
OR
Just share what YOU have........GIVE more than you take and you will find;
1) you become a better coach (galvanize your own beliefs)
2) you mentor other coaches (pass on the way of coaching)
3) you stretch yourself to improve / get better / learn
