i know the university of wisconsin river falls has a actual football class. the kids put the pads on and the football coach teaches it. they go through teaching the fundamentals of football.

here at UW Lacrosse we had a theory of coaching football class, i think it was one or two credits, taught by our defensive coordinator but he just got a head coaching job else ware so I'm not sure if the class will be taught anymore.

I took multiple football classes while playing at UWRF and they were great. Theory classes, officiating classes and psychology of coaching classes. They even offered, years ago, a 1/2 semester class on defending the run!
