We are thinking about going exclusively with these guys. Home and away pants, jerseys, socks, shoes, and half sleeve under shirts. How does their uniforms hold up? Kids love them, but wanted a idea how good they are?

The undershirts and stuff like that are great. The shoes seem to wear out pretty quickly. The pants have held up very well The first run of jerseys we got from them tore up and looked bad quickly. We complained and they replaced the entire set and the 2nd set have held up pretty well. Biggest complaint is the shoes and cleats.

have heard nothing but negative about the shoes.
we let them wear what they want on their feet.
The jerseys and pants have held up fantastically.

The pants seemed like a real good material, very durable. Have heard bad things about the shoes before, no clue on the jerseys. We are getting a pretty good deal for all that we are buying so just wanted an idea before spending alot of money. We bought Riddell pants and jerseys last year, wondering how they compare?

Kids love them, but wanted a idea how good they are? We have a UA contract and ours have held up VERY WELL. Had the uniforms for 2 years and only had one get banged up. 2-way starter for both years on the OL/DL so that is to be expected. Have not had a single issue with anything they have provided as of yet All shoe companies 'fit' differently than others, so if a kid is used to Nike's or something else, the first year the shoes will bother them at first, but then they understand how the shoes fit and will order 1/2 size bigger/smaller.

He have been with them for 2 years. Our white jersey's have taken a beating (we have worn them 18 times in the last 2 years). And they have been great. Their newer models of shoes have been very good to us (but we have a practice set and a game set).

Ever since the shoes came out around 06 they seemed to be left wanting in the durability department.
As far as the uniforms. The pants are really nice. They seem to be real durable and a really good material.
Now as far as the jerseys go. Ours are terrible, they are constantly ripping under the armpit where the piping is and have to send 4-5 a week to our Home-ec teacher to repair.
With that being said about our jerseys I am very skeptical about our rep. When we first ordered the jerseys we were suppose to have them for our first game and didn't get them till week 7. And kids who ordered spirit wear from him in May didn't get them till October.
My question for anyone who has UA jerseys; On the tags of the Jersey (either on the neck or the patch on the lower front) does it say Under Armor? I ask this because the only place we have an UA logo is on the front of the jerseys stitched on.

Macdiidy one of our local schools here had that happen. They signed a contract and actually wore their old white unis for a home game against us because UA didn't come through for them. Not sure what they thought about them after they got them.

Glad this topic was brought up.
I am thinking about going with UA for us, too. Our biggest rival up the road just went with them & it seems like a pretty sweet deal. Granted, I know that UA is getting theirs through this, but the below sounds like it's a pretty good set up for our program as well.
3 Year Deal (must buy one set of uniforms in that 3 year span..keep in mind, they bought two full sets, so these perks are adjusted accordingly I'm sure) -3K off total uniform cost. -35% off any additional catalog gear -30% off footwear -$5K in kickback year one....$4K in years 2 and 3.
Does this sound familiar for anybody else that has gone with them?
The last two years we have gone with Russell & I like Russell for the most part, but our two year old pants are starting to unravel at the knee on many of our pants (sending them back) and we have had a handful of jerseys where the numbers have cracked really bad (they replaced those for free).
Plus, and others have mentioned this, but the kids love them. For some reason (I don't get it, but it's fact or so it seems), parents and kids will hesitate to buy something for 25-30 bucks that is a knock off brand, but will buy that hoody with the UA Logo on it for 45-50. I don't get it.
Anybody else out there have there have their Little League and Middle School tied in as well?

We weren't going to sign any contract. Maybe we should propose that looking at the perks of that deal. We are getting 2 custom pants (40 pair of everything) 2 custom jerseys, 1 stock jersey, 40 half sleeve compression shirts, 40 pair of socks, 10 pair of shoes for coaches. The price was between 14-15 grand. They were a little higher but after they threw all the other stuff in it seems to equal out, and the kids love them.

We just got Under Armour jerseys last year and haven't had any major problems with them. We did have a numbering mix-up (we got two 81's instead of an 18 and 81) and they're a bit heavier than what we've used previously, but they held up really well. The kids love flashing that UA symbol on gameday.
We could never afford to sign a contract with a company because we barely have the budget to keep our team afloat, but these jerseys were a great purchase.
