I picked up a set of Dyna-Claw football cleats this last weekend at the Glazier Clinics and am intrigued by what I heard with regards to reduced stress on the knees and better grip (at least on turf) that they appear to have. Does anyone in a cold weather climate and not playing on turf have experience with these? We play the vast majority of our games on grass and it gets pretty cold in Oct. so I am wondering how well they work in that type of situation.

Coach, one of our DB coaches was talking to someone about those and they said they have had some issues with the grass when it gets whet, that they clog up.

They used some of our kids as pilots and our kids didn't really like them. They clogged up but they also ripped and then were pretty difficult to get off. That was the first run but by then most of our kids were turned off. They may be better now, as I said first run, but our personal experience wasn't anything that would make me run out and get them.

I bought a set for the kids last fall. They worked great on the turf and clogged badly on the grass. The kids loved them on the turf but were on ice skates on the damp/wet grass!
