Im going into my 2nd year as a coach. 26 yrs old. I was told to prepare for a jump from the modified level(JR High) to JV and help with the varisity, since they practice together.
I was told about this with about a week left in school. And they have had a meeting without informing me and have not even got back to me to say that I have the position. I want to stay at the HS if possible but I dont want to let other possible positions pass and not have a position come fall.
My question is. Do I just stay here and hope to hear from the HC before August or still apply for jobs elsewhere and risk being without a coaching job?
