What a great day! Right up there with Thanksgiving...eat about 6,000 calories and watch ball. The only thing that blows is we have to work the next day, which limits the imbibing.
What y'all got on the horizon this afternoon?
For me: Grilled Buffalo Wings Chicken Chili Rotel dip w/sausage Brownies w/ice cream Adult beverage of choice that has yet to be determined

Local market has items grill-ready:
Jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon
Banana peppers stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat dressing.
Stuffed mushroom caps
Boneless chicken thighs stuffed with jalepenos and cream cheese wrapped in bacon
And the best pre-made hamburger patties I've ever eaten
It'll look like something from the food network.

Sounds great, but that's the fanciest damnn Super Bowl Menu I've ever seen. Are you an assistant coach in the SEC? That can't be cheap. You got a nice Pinot or Cab to go with that?

Danish, actually. Born in the states and have been there a couple times. Would love to go back again.
Well, technically the family is from Schleswig-Holstein in Germany but calling my grandfather German would have been a great way to get him to deck you with his fist.

I go simple. I'll have frozen pizza and be by myself. I prefer it this way, because I got tired of being the only one at parties that cared about the game as opposed to halftime and commercials...

That's what makes it special. Very reasonably priced. About 5-6 dollars per item. Our family of three ate all day and had left overs for about $50

didn't watch it, but me and the wifey made a nice dinner for the family: round roast steak, rice, sauteed green beans, home made cheddar biscuits, and fresh blue berries.
