Another thread talked about how much "time" was spent watching film on you opponent. My question is how do you and your staff breakdown film for you opponent? As an offensive staff, what do you look for from the defense. Defensive guys what details/tendencies do you break down about your opponent? Most importantly how do you breakdown the responsibilities within your staff, who does what?

I will give our breakdown. Myself and assistant ol break down defensive fronts RB coach does all blitzes also get numbers of starters for scout board QB and WR do coverages
We pair the coverages with the stunts and look at what fronts, stunts, coverages are used on down and distance.
After this is done and the percentages run, we look at the coverages paired with stunts We will then start on the game plan, qb coach and myself, the rest will get the scout stuff ready. After this is all done we will watch cut ups of what other teams do like us etc as a staff. Next day finish game plan, watch film for things they might tip us on. Some guys will plug in our last game for self scout. We will then plan for mon, tues, wed.

Looking at their offense I'm looking for: Base offense, in general Best players Best plays Blatant tendencies Bizarre formations
I just realized that's dive B's.
Looking at their D I want: Base fronts Base coverages Best players Blatant tendencies Biggest weakness
