Coaches, I was just wondering how many of you have been at a game during severe weather? what did you do? etc... Just curious as this has never happened at any games that i have been at... Other than a lightning delay.

What do you mean, what did we do? We played football.
We don't do anything special because we don't have any budget for anything fancy. Same for snow. We get enough of both that our players are familiar with how to dress for the weather.
One thing, we don't go in at halftime when the weather sucks. The worst feeling is bit sort of warm, but cold on the inside, and soaking wet through all your layers. Better to just be frozen stiff.

I meant more along the lines of severe weather like thunderstorms, tornadoes, etc.... But that is a good point to keep them out of the locker room at halftime.

We saw heavy rains here in Ohio this year like half of the games. We are a 2x2 spread hybrid offense blending single wing triple option and spread but the mud It changes a lot of what we want to do but we have a wishbone base so we can go to that in the mud here is some highlights from the mud games and the dry track same field same team
