I can't tell if it's just my imagination but does the cold make leather balls slick? If so, does anyone have a quick answer to make them tackier or not as slick?

my supplier gave me a brush from wilson that i had my QB use on the game balls before every game. Amazing how much tackier it made the balls even after getting wet.

Brush and we use big game ball wax that helps give them a little tack. www.thebiggameusa.com/wax_refill.phpit's a pain to put on but it is worth it. i suggest buying a couple of the extra brushes that they sold.

Does it work even in the cold?
I ask because our pass game went south fast when the weather turned.

It makes the ball sticky. My players and coaches asked me, "is this stuff legal?"
We used it the last two weeks. Don't know about the cold. It only got down to around 48 one practice.

Go to a mans store aka fleet farm, tractor supply, gander mountain and get the big hand warmers. you also need a rubbermade container. line the rubbermade with the big hand warmers, put the balls in and then put the lid on the container. keeps balls warm.
if you have a generator find yourself an electric blanket or heating pad. put the blanket or pad in the rubbermade container (no need for the hand warmers). put the balls in the blanket and you have warm, soft balls when your offense is ready to go out on the field.

Has anybody had wilson foil stamp their GST footballs? If so, how much was it and how did it turn out?

Spray Tuff-Skin on them with the ball at arm's length when you do so.
