a chance to move back up to the big V again and find those 5-6 unselfish 6'0" - 230 - 4.4 WR types and move them to the DE to create havoc with the other offenses.

a job.......any job............paid or not, with a program committed to getting better every day for the kids and community. period. 1) a new gig 2) another opportunity to coordinate offense 3) another opportunity to position coach on defense 4) become a special teams dynamo (need to learn a lot here) 5) NO Saints win the Super Bowl after trouncing the Bears at Soldier Field and breaking both of Rex Grossman's legs, so the Bears will have to draft a new QB (JaMarcus Russell).

I hope the call I get today from the AD is that I am the new head coach and not the runner up!
Merry Christmas

Greg-
You should be wishing for a good defensive coordinator that on the side also knows the doublewing. If you have been very good this year, Santa may just stuff him in your stocking (although he would have to be kinda small to fit in there). Perhaps Santa will leave him outside in your doghouse with your awesome beast of an animal. I am sure the dog would like that!

Brad -
I am confident that we are going to get a very good DC. I have several resumes from guys on this board who are really impressive. I am eager for the admin. to get rolling on this after Christmas.
By the way, our kids are really battling people in basketball and wrestling. I like what I see with their attitude, and their work in the weight room is paying big dividends. 2007 is looking good!
Merry Christmas, Brad.

Health and happiness for all our friends and family - and to coach 11 or more games next fall (we've gotten knocked out first week of playoffs two years in a row).

well as long as we are asking, we should ask big. I want to win the powerball for 5 million after taxes. I will invest 4 million at 4 to 6 % annually. I will live of the interest. then I will quit teaching and going back to college. I will then just become a head high school football coach.
other then that, I want blessings to bestowed upon everyone.

I want Brophy, Wildcat, To The House, Ted Seay, or Coach Calandre up here coaching my kids!!! Then I can learn from some of the best minds on this sight...and improve myself. (still would like a couple of big, mean, athletic, and fast lineman to help out too ) And Brophy, how about we trade somebody and get Brady Quinn for the Bears at QB..? Would that be okay?

to keep my job here at my current college for another year, so I can get more experience.
Or a O-Coord job at a small HS anywhere.
