how much do you go full pads/full contact during camp, after required shorts and shells time? Every day. Once we get into the season schedule we go full pads Tuesday and Wednesday.

Everything live? Tackling drills, skell, team?

Everything live? Tackling drills, skell, team? Tackling drills don't go to the ground. Offensive inside drill, 7 on 7, and team are thud. Defensive are full speed but we'll usually quick-whistle it.

During camp everything is full contact, once the season starts the contact gets a lot less.
During our camp we hit, and hit, then hit some more. But once the season starts we open up with the Virginia Tech tackling circuit (not taking to the ground) and end practice with the Oklahoma Drill. It seems to work well for us.

None. We haven't even practiced in full pads and don't intend to due to the injury risk. We do go thud in shells every day, which usually results in a lot of unintentional tackling to the ground anyway.

Offense:
Blocking drills (1 on 1s; combo; half line and full line) are fit and drive vs. each other, and full out live when vs. the DL/LBs
Inside drill (and/or half line) is full out live (with a quick whistle).
7 on 7 is never live. DBs may bat balls or rip arms, but no "kill shots"
Team is either fit and drive (what others call thud) or full out live (with a quick whistle).
Team situations are always full out live.

Defense days are usually going to see more thud and live, offense days see more thud and whiz, lots of quick whistles on the QB but if he runs, he is a contact player. We go shells on Mondays to ease back in after a game and it's obviously whiz.
