This is better anyways, 2 less characters and I stress for those two characters all the time.

Tog, what exactly is the purpose for this? I'm not too up on the finer points of Twitter. All I really use it for is to follow ESPN Baseball/Football guys.

Tog, what exactly is the purpose for this? I'm not too up on the finer points of Twitter. All I really use it for is to follow ESPN Baseball/Football guys. putting a hashtag in front of something (hashtag = # - the 'pound' sign) makes that specific term immediately searchable. so, rather than having to follow someone specific to see their threads, you want to see all the football related tweets from around the world. if someone puts the hashtag #fbcoach in their tweet, it will immediately show up in the search. what have done, is create a column on my tweetdeck (i also use bottlenose & have created a search column there as well) and anytime a new tweet comes across with #fbcoach in it, i see it and can read it, reply to it, etc. just a way to help connect you to what comments others are tweeting - you don't have to follow them specifically for it to show up on your timeline. like i said, just do a search or create a permanent search list for it.

there are some good #fbcoach threads out there
there is some interesting football content floating around out there in twitter land as well
I would like to bring that here, and mix this there.
