This is going to be a bit of a rant, but I just have to post this. I go through all these threads daily. I love coachhuey.com and the fact that I have met some awesome coaches on hear that have completely changed my outlook on the game. There was link on football scoop here:

I played 4 years for this guy. He was my Oline coach for 1 and our DC / Strength Coach for the other years. He is awesome and is going to do great things at Hendrix College. They start football in 2013.
Here's the point. I want to recommend that each of you that read this take some time this summer or simply during next clinic season to spend some time talking ball with a small college (DII, DIII) or even a successful high school. I just think that those guys can really shine some light on things for those of you that feel you and your program are missing something. DIII and DII football is real football and is extremely competitive. Often times they are almost as well coached as any other FBS team. Mainly because they have to be. (Not saying FBS isn't but, maybe I am biased.) I just think that it is important to us to take a step back and say "you know running Cover 4 or Cover 3 like Alabama may not be what I am looking for. I need to go talk to some people that have common issues that a high school has". For example, DIII can't give athletic scholarships, so they have more turnover with players every year than an FBS school. Well, high school or youth may have the same problems. How do those guys cope with turnover? There is a team in our conference that is consistently at the top of the nation in all division in total offense. They are a One Back team. Not necessarily spread, but they are strictly One Back. They major in One Back Double TE one year and the next they maybe One Back 4 Wide. They stay within their system and adjust yearly to what they have. I'm not calling anyone out, he!! I used to get on here and ask for cut ups all the time. I can honestly tell you that this site has helped me more than any of those cut ups.
Another example, the school I was at last year was a Single Wing O and 46 Bear team. Where did we learn most of that stuff? Well, defensively we learned it from here. The 10-1 thread was where we started. I read some stuff from Jgordon on here and posts by Phantom. (Thanks guys ;D). Our HC was the ring leader for coachhuey.com, though he doesn't like to admit it. The point of the above link and all of this is to say that there are GREAT coaches all around you, including on this site, so use them and quit asking about how to run Malzahn's, Chip Kelly's, and Paul Johnson's Offense....just joking it's all great stuff and it works if coached right.
Anyways, just felt like I needed to post this. I would like to hear some thoughts, criticisms, or reality checks.
