This year our state is allowing out of season practices. We can basically do whatever we want. We can use pads but our staff decided not to. We are going to continue our weight program but 2 days a week we will hold "practice". just for about 1.5 hours. I was wondering any ideas or advice yall had on how to run it. Lots of indy time and a little group. Some ideas have been 15 or 20 of indy and spend the rest in large group install. We are all new to this and would love some insight from those who have traveled this road before. thanks pick

We don't have that, but I'd recommend do as many fun and competitive things as possible. If it's fun the kids will love showing up and won't get burned out by it, but if it's just like a regular practice they will be burned out and won't want to go all out come fall.

I would also teach the fundamentals and basic of different skills, your offense, your defense and etc.

Install your base offense and defense. Take care of as much learning as possible so that fall practices can be about fine tuning and getting used to contact.
