EMU has offered one of my players and we are going up to the game, so I get to watch the Master in action. I am excited to say the least, as a Navy Vet, and option fan it will be blast. EMU spread vs. Navy Flexbone. On a fast track like Ford Field it will be fun to watch.

What a game-- Being a Navy Vet, watchin' a navy game, seeing all the dress blues, on Veterans Day, and the ROLLED EMU! They even tossed the ball around, each pass was a huge GASH in the defense! Qb started out 5 for 5. They didn't even have to punt. EMU had no answers for the Option. The Rocket was a joy to watch in action. The counter Option really did EMU in, whenever they dialed in on the regular option.
I will say this much for EMU, their special teams are very well coached, they had 3 different onside kicks the last one I coulldn't even describe. with out seing it again on film.

coach, wasn't the last one a drop kick? after initially placing the ball on the tee, the kicker ran up to the ball like some thing was wrong, picked it up, the. drop kicked it. pretty amazing stuff.

yes it was! I have never seen anything like that! The way he (kicker) ran up to the ball stoped everyone like the ball ahd fallen or soemthing, bent over picked it up squeezed the ball like he was going to set it back on the tee, and then he drop kicked it.
I remember looking at the play clock and thinking "oh my god they are going to get a delay of game on a kickoff "it was at 6 seconds when he drop kicked it. It was definitly a suprise.
