We have recently entered into a coop agreement with another school. They have a booster club and our school has a booster club. There are no plans of either club to begin offering gear, servicing, etc our coop football team. I'm currently exploring the option of starting a football booster club.
Does anyone have any experience getting one of these off the ground? Anyone have any by laws or constitutions or any paperwork they would be willing to share from their clubs they started? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please email it to me at andykerley@yahoo.com. Thank you.

I would talk to your AD and see what needs to be done to get a QB club started. Also, see if there are any parents interested in being involved.

My AD didn't know we had qualified for the playoffs until she asked me the Tuesday AFTER our last game of the year the previous Friday. (We did by the way and that game clinched our birth) I have talked to my principal about it and he likes the idea as our Booster Club seems to be doing little other than selling Tshirts so they can buy stuff for themselves. Our FB program has yet to receive on cent in the past two years. Right now I'm just trying to amass information on how to go about doing this if it gets green lighted.

I have seen booster clubs work two different ways. One school I was had had a booster club that was mostly controlled by the parents. They set up the fundraisers and ultimately decided how to spend the funds. They would have the standard monthly meetings with the coach to determine needs but ultimately the club decided how to spend the money.
Current school is way different. Our booster club is considered an outside school organization. There is virtually no parent involvement. The President is a longtime friend of the HC. HC and president do all of the fundraising and decide how the money is spent. Ultimately, the President is in charge of everything and must make sure the books are up to date.
I think it kind of depends on the rules your school district has. Get the rules first and you can go from there. Either way you will have to have a parent meeting to get the Club started.
