hello coaches
I have been thinking about doing something different from the regular t-shirt this year to foster unity and pride for our offensive line. I want to get them dog tags with our "hogs" logo on the front and a quote on the back. For those of you who have done this, is there any companies you recommend? I have found a few online but I would rather go through a company someone on here has experience with..
thanks

Have you thought about checking with your texhnology education department? My wife says that the one at her school does them as a project every year. Could be a money saver!

kyle, Check out www.theawristocrat.comWe've gotten dog tags for the entire program each of the last 5 years through this company. We will continue to work with this company because they are competitive with pricing, trusted and reliable with service, and we've always been pleased with the finished products. Dog tags are great tools to establish an identity or brand for a team, program, or position group in your case. They work wonders for team unity and pride. I applaud you for stepping outside of the box and thinking of another way to accomplish what a lot of programs do with t-shirts. It doesn't get any more unique than dog tags. Good luck with it Coach.

I'll be back at the school on Monday and can get you the company info. I can't remember off the top of my head which one of the 1000 companies out there I used.

I think it's a good idea if the kids will all wear them.
I listened to a presentation at a Hudl clinic from a high school coach and they get those silicone wristbands every year with their motto.

coaches for those of you who were wondering I ended up ordering a small sample from www.theawristocrat.com and they arrived today. I am very pleased with how the dog tags turned out. They are well done and worth the price in my opinion. The picture didnt turn out great but hopefully it gives you an idea of how they turned out

Those of you that have used dog tags, how did you approach giving them out? Did they have to earn them? Did everyone get one? Could you lose them? If so, how?
Very interested in comments!!

I plan on giving ours out at the end of two-a-days (Saturday before week 1 begins). It will be only for the offensive line.
