I am in the process of ripping through my home office and trying to organize a filing system. Anybody have any good organizational concepts that they feel work for them. I have an abundance of notes/scouting reports/workouts however I never know where to find them because they are cluttered.. Any recommendations would be appreciated..

I do a huge 3 ring binder for every season (actually you can find a business that will bind them in a hardback book format fairly cheap). Everything from that season goes in there by opponent. So when all is said and done, a copy of every practice script, scouting report, stat sheet, etc. goes into that binder. At home I have the previous years binders but at school I keep the one from the immediate year before.
As for clinic notes, I have them put in comb binders that most copy shops will do for a few bucks. I date all of them and keep the newest ones on top. When one binder gets filled, just start a new one. I've actually got another comb bound packet with cut-paste posts from the Huey site--just cut and paste into Word and print. Then have the shop put them in comb binding. Everything organizes real well.
