Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I'm looking for some recomendations on a QB camp in NJ. My son will be in eighth grade this year and they begin to teach the High School offense. We have been doing local camps every season for a few years but I'm looking for something more to get him ready for Freshman football. I have heard of QBR but haven't gotten feedback form kids who have gone.
And suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Darin Slacks Quarterback Academy Camps are great. We sent our Sophomore QB to one last year and he loved it. I would highly recommend one of these camps if you can get to one. The website is www.quarterbackacademy.com. We also bought his videos and use his drills for our QB's

Thanks for the info. The camps aren't so convenient for us. But How would you rate the DVD package?

We purchased the Complete C4 package for $200. It is defiantly worth the money if it is in your budget.

I will tell you that the C4 videos are the best videos for a young QB that I have ever seen. They not only teach you and your QB the mechanics needed to be a outstanding QB in every aspect of the game they also give you reason why it is needed. If you can pay the $200 for the DVDs I would.

Coach Slack's C4 Mechanics are GREAT. I would definitely recommend those. I have not been to any other camps personally, so I couldn't say good/bad on any others.

Slack is the best I have been to so far. I have a 7th grade qb. Prior to attending the camp I thought he was good but raw- needed discipline and discipline in his mechanics. Darrin slack works these kids hard - this is no vacation camp. This is hard work 110% effort required at all times. Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual training to be a qb, to be a leader and above all else... To serve. My son smashed through his mechanical and mentall issues and just improved his foot all IQ so rapidly from this camp. He was also selected to compete in the Duel of the Dozens QB challenge. I bought the DVD set for qb. While this set is older, it is still worthy. It is important for the parent to also attend (and they give you a field pass and encourage you to be out on the field with you child- take video, take pictures... Ask question) so that they may be witness to the transformation and be better suited to continue the transformation. I did buy the 4R offense system wich is amazing. Prices went up huge. But can say it just might be worth it and more. I highly recommend getting into one anywhere. We have been to other camps and this has been the only one to truly benefit my son long term. The videos are great especially to remember things and to get your coach on par with it too. Http://www.nationalfootballacademy.com
