Just did the registration and hotel booking for the Minn., MN Clinic on 17-19 FEB for me and my HC.
VERY EXCITED!!
The only clinic I have been to is a small local one here in the U.P. (Escanaba).
What are some tips for getting the most out of it? Scribble notes like crazy? Introduce yourself to other coaches/presenters?
Anyone else going to this one?

I've never been to Glazier, but I am going to KC this year and have been to other clinics. I try to listen to everything that pertains to what I'm interested in or what I lack knowledge in. I've been to Denver Nike COY clinic a few years and it seems like when Joe blow coach is talking about special teams the room is half full, but when Coach D1 school comes in and talks about his program there's not a seat in the house.
The point I'm getting at is I feel a lot of times I have learned a lot more from the HS coaches and small college coaches, so don't underestimate the name, some of the big time coaches have been real good as well, so it just depends. Read your itinerary and pre plan what you want to go to and it will typically state what the speaker will discuss.
I don't scribble notes like crazy, but I make sure I get the main points of the discussion. There are some clinic notes posted on the site where you can maybe get an idea of the note taking of others.
I may being going to Minneapolis (my fiance is from MN and she likes going back) but I can't guarantee it.

That's a good post. The only thing I'll add is that sometimes the best clincing happens when the coaches are talking in the hotel bar the Glazier is taking place. And, I mean that seriously. That's where I've gotten some of my best "program" ideas and "x's and o's" ideas.

Learned lots from presenters and over a few pints with the boys afterwards. Definitely will be taking in a couple of after-sessions at TGIF JD.

I'm with coachjd on this one. Some of the best ideas I have gotten were going to TGI's or elsewhere for lunch or supper with a table full of guys with 500 or so combined wins.

I spoke at that clinic in 2008. It was a great clinic, and is very well run! The TGI Fridays was packed with coaches talking ball. Tip: Keep your napkin dry or the ink smudges!
