BTW, I've only played as two teams--Michigan and West Virginia. The WVU spread attack is awesome; in one drive against Pitt, my QB accounted for all 80 yards and my center had 5 pancakes!! As Michigan, they make Breaston (WR 15) a lot better than he should be in my opinion, but Hart, Henne, Branch (I think that is who DE 80 is) and OLB 56 (Woodley I think) are also studs. It's a disgrace I didn't win a title with them in my first year!

On the PS2 version I've been using the spread also, but with Oregon. I finally after two weeks figured out how to motion the receiver to the backfield for the triple option. ;D. The QB Wrap and the slot option play also work well for me.

Oregon...
didn't look at them... is their QB mobile?
I can't make the wrap work for me at all... they tackle my mesh...
WVU is a beast on the game... haven't lost with them yet...

Yes the Oregon starting quarterback is extremely mobile. As for the QB Wrap I simply wait for the backside tackle to pull playside and I follow him with the quarterback.

Campus Legend mode is pretty good, but the time needed to keep your grades up is tough. Perhaps it is because I choose one of the difficult majors..U.S. History. Being a history major myself, I thought I would have no problem passing the Mid-Term (which I did with a 100%!!!), so I spent my evenings doing position drills or social activities for two weeks. Surprisingly, my GPA dropped to a 1.8 and I was suspended for a week! Needless to say I learned my lesson and now have to spend 3 of the 5 nights studying just to increase my GPA! Once I spent 2 nights studying and my GPA still dropped! It is a cool feature but with the tougher majors you can't spend a lot of time improving your football skills.

I was a chemistry major in college, so I figured I could NOT study and just get 100% on the midterms & finals. I simulated through a season, (just to see how the engine works) and even with 100% on the midterm AND final, I got a 3.0 So when I actually started the one that I am playing, I make sure I do the tutor on mondays (takes up tuesdays too), and then study wednesday. Then I alternate weeks with the thursday/friday activity. One week I will do a social event on thursday, then study friday. This seems to not make the GPA drop like it did when I went to social activities on fridays. Then on the other weeks I do position drills. My GPA is above 3.5 now. It is very difficult to keep the GPA up that high.

I tried the campus legend once......that thing took so darn loooooonggg.....It got me thinking....you really could spend a good 5 hours on the thing (using an hour just to do a week's worth of practices really isn't that rewarding) - rather than actually getting out and DOING something.
I say this as an adult, who has had his fun in the college sun, I just speak on behalf of those kids still in HS (who look at this as a form or pseudo-reality).
As far as the game goes, I did 3 years at UL Monroe, then got a gig at (then unranked) Colorado.........the recruiting is some of the funner stuff.

Gpa? Please, as long as I graduate... I'm going to the pro's... Last year, sent one of my sons to the pro's... an option qb with poor accuracy... he didn't pan out to well... but he got paid for 3 years. All i'm saying... its all about the combines and the draft... think my youngest son will be leaving in his 3rd year anyway....
