A few observations:
Chase Daniel deserves an invite to NYC.
In Missouri's 3x1 and 3x2 formations, they're using quite a bit of unbalanced lines with just the five offensive linemen, including the direct snap to Rucker.
They also used a "pistol" formation with six offensive linemen with the snapper being the second most lineman to the right, and trips to the right side.

If Missouri wins, are they #1?
I'm thinking
1. Missouri 2. West Virginia 3. Ohio State 4. Georgia 5. Virginia Tech
Two two-loss teams in the top 5!
FYI, in 1960 (season of the disputed Kansas/Missouri game), Minnesota won the AP National Championship with 2 losses, including one in the Rose Bowl!

Missouri sacks Reesing for a safety while playing prevent and only rushing four. Wow. 4 man rush vs 6 man protection equals only 2 double teams ... still 1on1 in 2 positions ... don't buy they "cliche" the announcers bark about 'men in the box' or "4 man rush".

Still, the pressure got there pretty quick.

KU's left tackle had his hands full all night.

ABC needs to stop broadcasting College Sporting events. Between the camera work and Musberger, it was pretty sub par. Herbstreit was the only one who was able to keep them focussed.

KU's left tacklet, Collins, is coming off an injury. He didn't play last week and did not look full speed last night. He is actually KU's best O-Lineman. However, I was very impressed with MU's front four. They were better than I thought they would be and won the game up front.

I like Mizzou's O. Only saw them a couple other times. Lots of gadgets and fun quads stuff. I imagine some on this board run stuff pretty similar to what they do.

one thing I noticed is how kansas never really did any thing to combat the man for man press coverage until the 4th quarter.
I was a great game and I hope Missouri can beat OU. I would like to see a Missouri vs W. Virgina bcs championship. really I would like to see Hawaii vs W. Virgina but the old guard media will not allow the to happen. guess that is what happens when you play in the bowl division as apposed to the championship division.
Musburger got one thing right. the big 12 north programs are making a commitment to winning and Nebraska better get on board.

Airman, The big 12 north is full of young QB's that are really good. It should make for an interesting next couple of years. People that think Kansas will go away are wrong, they are actually pretty darn young. K-State needs to bring back Bennett for the D.
