We won our championship for the second year in a row. My question is at the end of the year banquet do you talk to everyone as a group and then just announce each boy and hand him his trophy or do you say a little bit about each player before you give him his trophy? Last year I summoned up our season and then said a little about each player but had a hard time finding things to say about a few of the boys. Which do you think works best?

I always enjoyed a quick story or "spiel" about each player. I haven't done it yet (and would totally bomb it because I stutter like there's no tomorrow). It's always more fun that way, and there seems to be a better "team" atmosphere that comes from it. The kids really appreciate it too when you say something good about them. If it's a kid who you aren't very fond of, or who you have nothing to say for, just say something that will make them happy and be done with it.
