Just wondering what everyone does at the end of your football season. Does anyone give a banquet, pizza party or what? Our league gives everyone tee shirts the day of our final game. Thanks

We have a cookout at a players farm. They have a 4 wheeler and trampoline, fishing lake, room for air-soft wars and touch football, TV in the barn for some college football. Tons of ways to get hurt, AFTER the season is over!!! We get them a t shirt and cool team poster.
After reading thru this. Dang. We never had anything like this when i was a kid. May have to look for that game Tom Hanks played in the movie "Big", but wish to be 'small'. lol

After our last game last season I gave each of our players a bottle of what was kid-friendly that I had the most of -- users.bestweb.net/~robgood/lather.html . The organiz'n has an awards brunch on a Sunday in February that about splits the distance between the football & baseball seasons.

At the end of each season we usually keep some money set aside for a gift for each child(dog tag w/ name, position, and year) and we usually do pizza party and parent/coach/player football game. Always a good time.

I've debated bringing a case of near-beer to our last practice or game for the youth team. I'm pretty sure I could get away with that here.

As a team, the last week of the season we do a little pizza party for the kids on the field at the end of practice - we try to make it the last practice, but that's really weather dependent. We give them a little something like medals or tee shirts.
As an org, we have an "awards ceremony" in our HS auditorium. We give each kid a participation trophy or medal, we give out bigger trophies and jackets for champions. We do all levels - football and cheer - at the same time. It's also our first sign up for next year. We're actually doing it tomorrow.

We have a banquet. Its tonight. This was my first year at this program so I'm not sure exactly what will happen but i'll post again if theres anything real special about it.
The ones ive been a part of in the past were a banquet that gives the kids their letter and any awards, and their position coach says a couple nice things about them.
I once had one of these banquets a couple of hours after they fired my boss. Meaning I wouldnt be coming back either. That was extremely difficult.

we have a team party a few months after the season as a get together, this year we rented an indoor pool with slide, rock climbing wall and zip lines. we swim for an hour then head up stairs for a huge pizza party and we order a team t shirt for every kid and give them thank you notes from the coaches, we also have a few door prizes, thank the grade 8's who are leaving etc

The organiz'n has an awards brunch on a Sunday in February that about splits the distance between the football & baseball seasons. I see this year it's going to be a banquet on a Thurs. night. BTW, I still have plenty of that bubble bath that I can ship in gal. jugs & 5 gal. pails from Allentown, Pa., but only for sale. I'm out of bottles here to fill to give away samples of, since Halloween.
